Week #10

Written
1. Text Messaging... Its bad because its a real slow process sometimes and it doesn't always go through. You also have to worry about the signal and the disruption of the classroom. Its really easy to get sidetracked on your phone texting then listen to your teacher. But you can get better and love it.
2. Letters... They can get lost in the mail or take a really long time to get to you. Its like really slow text messaging. They are a cool thing to do and have been the way of communication for a long time.
3. E-mail... I like this way of communication although it can be a hassle and email addresses do get hard to remember. You can really get a lot done with though especially business related e-mails.
Verbal
1. Over the phone: Well you can talk way too long and loose communication because of service
2. In person: Well, you might not want to see them or they could just piss you off, its better to avoid it. Although, girls love to talk all day on it and it is the best form of communication
3. Giving a Speech: Wow, what a scary thing to do, you in front of all those people and you might jam up, scary. Yet, you can win a lot of money for this in contest and a great job as well.
Non-Verbal
1. Sign Language: it can really confusing and its hard to learn. Although, you can learn and it would be really fun
2. Body Language: Give off the wrong signals you get into a fight or raped! But, you can also see if a girl likes you or not from the body language she giving off to you.
3. Tone of Voice: you can really scare somebody or even get into a fight over it. Yet, it comes in very handy at times when you need to yell or get your point across.
Part #2
I believe I'm an excellent communicator, I talk to people all the time. I do run into people that I have hard time talking to but don't we all. Like those really stupid people, or the arrogant frat boys. I can improve a little on my Communication in the drive though at work, but that about it.

Girl, I dont like your attitude Week #9

Task #1 Well, I think my attitude is great. I am a really easy going kind of person and I hardly ever get mad. So, I probably not the person that needs an attitude adjustment, but OK. Like I said, I am easy going always. I can get made though like everyone else in this little round world. Although, when I do get mad, I usually get really mad because of my bad temper.

Task #2 Oh, I am always on my best behaviour at the studio. Like I said in the last paragraph, I am not really the person to ask this question. I work with all my best friends at our studio, playing our music. Their really is never an attitude problem or a respect issue because we are all friends. Yea, we may get pissed at each other, but who doesn't? So, no I could not show any improvement because their is none needed.

Task #3 Well my mom is a real nice laddie and my brother is a real not nice laddie. My mom always taught me to be nice but my daddy showed me the way to the Wehunt temper. Yea sir, the Wehunt have a bad temper, but were the nicest people ever. Were nice until you become a butt, then we are even worse than our rival. Except my brother of course, he usually stays on the buck side of life or the fighting side of life.

Week 8 Worplace Safety

Task #1 They're are many ways and devices that could shock and kill me at my job. I work at a studio and electrical wear can be pretty dangerous at times. I believe one of my mentors, Mark Kuhn actually got shocked a few weeks back when we tried to fix his amp. Ah yes, Mr. Froto, (that's Kuhn's cat) what a ferocious feline indeed. One day that monster tried to pounce on me from the upstairs hallway. i was downstairs and he missed and hit the couch, but just imagine this crazy cat flying through the air at you. Very scary and quit weird.

Task #2 "Working with electricity can be dangerous." I can't agree more. You can get electrocuted or shocked. I mean every time your go around it your at high ricks. "Others, such as office workers and sales people, work with electricity indirectly and may also be exposed to electrical hazards." You see even in an everyday job things can go wrong. All it takes is one cat and one wire for the whole house to burn down.

"It is a requirement of OSHA that employees be given a safe and healthy workplace that is reasonably free of occupational hazards." This is such an important aspect of it all. no one can or should feel comfortable unless their are safety rules and first aid kits. Ex specially at my job, a chicken joint. hot grease everywhere and tons of gas hooked up to those fryers. Anyone could lose their life any day their at Cains and that's why it so important.

Task #3 Well we have had blast so far. Recording music, learning how to make he music, and learning all the electrical stuff that goes with it. I could pretty much engineer a whole album if I wanted to. Not only have i learned so much but really became better friends with all my friends I should say. I work with my mentor and two other friends on our music.

I am really excited to get out of school and turn 18 this summer. I get to get my car which means I can be at the studio any time I want. So, that is a really big thing I am looking forward to. But to be totally honest I have had a blast at my service learning sight, and if they didn't let me choose, I would most likely be dreading it right now. Thank you classic city, thank you.

Week 7 Why Im Unique

Lets just start off by saying that I am one of the top ten chicken finger cooks in the world, and I ranked second in the hot fingers championship show down in Guam. I am unique because I'm always cleaning and I work really hard. You can't find that many people these days that will actually do a great job. Not just a good one but a great one. I am volunteering at a studio called Crab Apple Records. I want to be a producer one day, so this really helps me out a lot. The students at Classic City have it very lucky indeed. Instead of having to learn this in college or later in our lives; we get the knowledge now and can advance on with our lives quicker.

Week 5 Blog post "What Happened At Kuhns This Week" Yea!

Ive learned over the course of last week that sometimes being a producer is not all what it crakcs up to be. I have gotten very frustrated with computers before and Kuhn's is the one I dispise the most. If you push one wrong button and you could ruin everything. I made a cool beat last week and as I was tweeking it in certain places I clicked the wrong button and deleted the song. It really Hurts inside that I will never hear my beat again.

On the other hand Kuhn is teaching me killer guitar chords and he taught me the blues chords last week. I think its really cool that this school gives us the oppurtunity to work with someone that wil teach us life skills in the field we would like to learn them in. I get to learn how to play the guitar and become a producer for free and a get a credit. I am eagerly awaiting my future in music and to get the experience I need to excel in this field in highschool is just amazing. So thankyou Kuhn and Service Learning!

Week 5 Blog "What happened this week"

This week John Krnc wasn’t their because he was sick, but I did what any noble man would do. I sucked it up and did his work for him. Some people think we got it easy; they think we just sit in a studio all day and play with buttons. Their wrong, Kuhn dog has us working like slaves, I practically cried last week. He makes us lay straw until our fingers are bleeding uncontrollably, and last week Walt made john scrub all 10 of the toilets.

Although, it’s not too hard down their, I think I can survive, maybe not my fingers though. Kuhn dog is teaching me how to play the guitar and mix songs. Their band (The Scattering) just released a new song called "After the Fall" which went to number one on the Acid Planet charts (Acid Planet is a lot like MySpace except its all about your music and art, so diffrent artist join on the internet and review each others work). I think John has made his own beat, but I don't know if he's done yet. Well that’s about all for this week, I shall see you tomorrow!
